Using Data in Dryad

What kinds of data are here?

Dryad's goal is to collect all data underlying publications in the partner journals. The initial journals have a focus on evolutionary biology and ecology, but this is subject to expansion. You may be interested in our list of featured datasets.

Do I have to pay for the data?

All data in Dryad is free for non-commercial use. For commercial uses, please contact the corresponding author of each dataset.

How do I cite data?

Cite datasets the same way you would cite a publication, including the date of the associated primary publication and the permanent handle URL of the dataset. Here is an example:

Sidlauskas, Brian, 2007. Statistically significant relative warps. Dryad Digital Repository. hdl:10255/dryad.23
